Welcome to Trouble's Home page
Well we are back from a nice long
vacation, and boy did we have FUN! We went to Columbus Ohio. I hope to
get our vacation pictures developed soon. After I get the pictures back
I will try to add them to this page. One of the places we went was Cedar
Point. Cedar Point is an amusement park that is a lot like Six Flags only
it is bigger. It has one of the worlds largest wooden roller coasters.
Andy and Ellen rode on most of the roller coasters while Carrie and I went
on most of the carnival type rides. I did finally get up enough nerve to
ride a few roller coasters. While we were there they had some real good
storms. At one point they said that tornados were on the lake and would
lift up as soon as they came into shore. At one point Carrie and I had
to stand under a pavilion and wait till they told us we could leave because
of the weather. Even though it rained quite a bit we still got to ride
several of the rides in between storms.
We went to a water park one
day. It was a nice big one. The name of it was Wyondot Lake. It is a Six
Flags owned park. Again Andy and Ellen went on the big slides while Carrie
and I played around in the less "wild" part of the park. Ok it sounds like
I am a wimp but I just prefer to sit back an relax rather than be scared
to death!
Mohician Canoe rental was
another nice lazy day. We went canoeing with Mom and Kris. This time Andy
was with Carrie, and Ellen was with me. Andy and Carrie enjoy splashing
each other while Ellen and I wanted to just lazily float down the lake.
Before we went canoeing we went horse back riding. This was Andy's first
time on a horse and he loved it! Mom's horse was so stubborn (she had a
mule) it wouldn't quit eating! It kept stoping to get a mouth full of anything
and everything it could along the trail. Kris' horse was also stubborn
even if it wasn't a mule! When it decided to stop there was no getting
it to go! Ellen's was the best behaved out of them all. Carrie's horse
brought up the rear and it would lolly gag along at such a slow pace. My
horse was a mustang! It had it's mind set that it would do what it wanted,
well that is until it met me....hehehe.
Let me start with my husband, Andy! I never knew that I could be so lucky
to have someone as wonderful as him! We have been married for 1 1/2 years.
He was from Ohio, but was relocated with his job. Andy is a computer whiz.
You name it and he can make a computer do it! Ok, well maybe I am bragging
on him a little but he is a whiz at the computer. He has our computers
at home networked, all 5! Yes we are a computer oriented family! Did I
mention that that is how we met? We started chatting and got to know each
other, then after a year one thing led to another and now we are husband
and wife!
Ok my kids! Well let's start with Carrie. Carrie is 11 years old and
one heck of a smart kid! She loves to cook, go bike riding, read, and be
outdoors. When she gets started on the playstation, look out! She can kick
some butt. We recently got her the "Spiro the Dragon" game and she is beating
my pants off! She loves to sleep in all the time, but once she does get
going she is one heck of a hard worker. Carrie also loves to go down to
the Chattahoochee river. Our apartment is located right on the river. Carrie
goes down to the river trail and there is a place there that people bring
there dogs to swim. She has a lot of fun playing with the dogs there.
Now what can I say about Ellen. Well for starters she is a teen! She
will turn 14 the 20th of August. Ellen is going into high school this year,
and she is on the PomPon squad. She loves Cats, horse back riding, swimming,
chatting on the computer, and playing on the playstation. When Ellen is
on the computer she usually uses the nick name of Kat but has been know
to use others. She has created her own web page, the address is listed
a little further down on this page.

I am very fortunate to have the most loving and caring mother-in-law
and sister-in-law. Dee (mom) and Kris are so great. When we go on vacation
later this month we are going up to Ohio to see them. Mom and Kris are
WONDERFUL cooks. Every time we get together I end up gaining 10 lbs.! We
always have plenty of good food such as cheese cake, rice crispy treats,
home made ice cream, and many other great treats. They also make wonderful
main dishes.
Mom and Kris have three pets, Cloe, Woody, and Buster. Cloe is a black
cocker spaniel, and Woody is a tan cocker. Buster is a big temperamental
cat, but then again aren't all cats temperamental! I dog sat for Cloe and
Woody while Mom and Kris went on vacation back in May. I had so much fun
that I didn't want to let them go back home when Mom and Kris got back.
My parents live in Illinois. My mother is a fifth grade school teacher,
and my dad is a retired school teacher that farms and teaches at the local
boot camp. Ellen and Carrie live with my parents. The girls tried to live
down here for a while but after living there whole life in a small town
it was just too big of a change for them, so my parents take care of them.
I can never thank my parents enough for all that they have done for me
and the girls. I am blessed to have such a wonderful family.
